Royal Cornwall Museum
On Tuesday Loveny Class enjoyed a day out at the Royal Cornwall Museum. They handled 2,000 year old artefacts from a Roman villa excavated near Camborne and made oil lamps from clay. After lunch the children walked around the exhibitions before heading home. Jack B said ‘The museum was filled with really cool stuff’, Evie said ‘I enjoyed making the Roman lamps’. Our thanks to the Cornwall Heritage Trust who supported this visit by giving the school a grant to pay for the coach to Truro, we really appreciate their help.
