The children had a brilliant time learning about the lives of people during the Viking reign, how they lived, dressed and about their currency. The children also learned about their modes of travel and their monetary values.
Following on from their visit to the Maritime Museum, they carried out their own invasion of Padstow, arriving by boat and pillaging the village of food, drink and silver. The shop owners were very willing to take part in this venture.
