“The children enjoyed an amazing visit to the National Maritime Museum Cornwall to learn about the history of sea safety in Cornwall. We looked at Henry Trengrouse’s Rocket and we learnt about modern safety equipment to keep us safe at sea.
An exciting boat race topped the day off wonderfully. Thank you to the Cornwall Heritage Trust for supporting this trip.” (Chacewater School)
“I loved seeing that tiny boat and hearing all about the story of the shipwrecked family.” (Jenny)
“My best bit was seeing the real box that Henry’s (Trengrouse) Rocket was in. I can’t believe people really used it!” (Theodore)
“I’m going to bring my mum and dad back so we can all have a go on the Jet Ski and Quad Bike.” (Eliza)
“I was a bit scared when we went into the underwater bit but then when I saw the fish it was brilliant!” (Arthur)
