“At Wheal Martyn we had a fascinating tour. On the tour we had to spot teddybears. We saw the equipment and learnt their names. We learnt all about China Clay in Cornwall. We did a workshop where we tried on clothes and learnt what things are made with China clay. We put stuff on a map to see how Cornwall had changed because of China clay.”
This trip was made possible by Cornwall Heritage Trust’s School Transport Grants Scheme. This academic year’s grants are provided in partnership with Cornish Lithium.
