“The children had a wonderful time at the Maritime Museum. They enjoyed exploring the ‘Pirates’ exhibition and looking at the different boats that are on display. They were delighted to make their own boats which they raced on the pool. Everyone had great fun!”
“The children thoroughly enjoyed learning more about Henry Trengrouse, a local hero. The rescue of John Henry was a great experience and helped the children to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of Henry Trengrouse’s breeches buoy. The rocket was launched over the water to get the rope to the other side; if you look closely at the photo you can see the rocket in mid-air. It was very exciting!”
