“I went to the Maritime Museum. It was so fun and I really enjoyed listening to the story of the Robertson Family. I liked playing on the RNLI rescue equipment and loved rescuing John Henry with the Breeches Buoy that Henry Trengrouse made. I liked making the boats and sailing them in the pool. Thank you from Pippa.”
“I went on a school trip to the Maritime Museum with Year 1 and Year 2. I really liked it because there were lots of different places to go but they were all interesting. I had two favourite things that we did – rescuing John Henry with Henry Trengrouse’s Breeches Buoy and looking out of the watch tower. I learnt lots of interesting facts, including about boats that were made in Falmouth and sailed from Falmouth to different places in the world. Thank you from Maddox.”
This trip was made possible by Cornwall Heritage Trust’s School Transport Grants Scheme. This academic year’s grants are provided in partnership with Cornish Lithium.
