“We went there because our project was about mining so we know more about how they worked and what it was like. We… saw a lot of old machines they used. Isla sat in a truck and pretended to work in the mine. After panning for gems (which was my favourite), we walked through a mine. It was so dark and the rocks were low. It was a great day out!”
