“Our first activity was making the boats. We used chip boxes to make small sailing boats and little wooden sticks to hold up a sail. Then we went downstairs and raced the boats in a pool. We learnt about how boats sail and float. This was my favourite part of the day. It was really fun! I also really liked the lookout where we got to see all of Falmouth and how it has changed.” Marshall
“After our boat activity, we went to the Monsters of the Deep exhibition. A man from the Museum talked to us about the big map. We saw a manatee in the sideshow tent. We also saw some animals that live in the sea, like the massive killer whale skeleton. I loved the upstairs bit where we had to think about what is real and what is fake. I’m sure the mermaid was real! Another part I liked was going down to the tidal room where I got to see a really tiny crab that was climbing on the window.” Layla
