“I really enjoyed making coil pots the way people in the Iron Age did. We designed Iron Age coins too and created a timeline. It was an awesome, inspiring school trip and I’d love to go again. My favourite part was looking at the Iron Age artefacts.”
“I loved going to Penlee House, we got to make Iron Age staters which are coins and we learnt to make Iron Age pottery. It was very cool looking at the arrow heads found in Cornwall from the Iron Age. Thank you to Cornwall Heritage Trust for helping us get there!”
This trip was made possible by Cornwall Heritage Trust’s School Transport Grants Scheme. This academic year’s grants are provided in partnership with Cornish Lithium.
