Children from Veryan Primary School recently headed to Wheal Martyn, the UK’s only china clay mining museum, thanks to our School Transport Grants and it’s been wonderful to see how much fun they had on their day out.
The rising cost of transport is a major problem for schools, which is why our transport grants continue to be so important. Since the grants were introduced, CHT has helped to fund over 400 trips to Cornish heritage sites which have benefited over 17,000 Cornish primary school children.
