The third instalment of our series of public beacon lightings to celebrate our charity’s 40th anniversary.

Price: FREE

Our specially commissioned mini-brazier will be lit to mark Cornwall Heritage Trust’s 40th anniversary and the 80th anniversary of VE Day. Refreshments, including celebration cupcakes, will be served from 3pm for a suggested donation of £2.

The official lighting will take place at 6pm.

You don’t need to be members and there’s no need to book. Just come along and enjoy!

About the site

Tregonning Hill is a complex archaeological landscape with monuments and other features dating back to the Iron Age, Romano-Cornish and medieval periods. It is also known as the birthplace of the British china clay industry. The site was purchased by our charity in November 2023.

This event is in aid of Cornwall Heritage Trust – the small, independent charity protecting Cornwall’s heritage for everyone.
