From talks on HMS Warspite and local mythology to guided walks at sites such as the Dynamite Works at Hayle Towans, our Cornish Story Cafes are all about bringing Cornwall’s unique and distinct heritage to life and preserving these precious stories for future generations.
The talks are open to the general public free of charge and cover topics which are as broad as they are varied. Previous Cornish Story Cafes have ranged from discussing archaeological excavations at Trethevy Quoit to exploring the forgotten stories of Cornish miners from the Kolar Gold Fields.
