Donald M. Healey CBE
From 1961 to 1971 Trebah was owned by Donald Healey, the racing driver and designer of the sports car bearing his name.
Over a period of 10 years he restored parts of the beach and the slipway and built the boathouse with material recovered from the beach restoration.
By dedicating the boathouse to his memory, Trebah Garden Trust recognises the contribution made by this great Cornishman
