About the tour
Dating from around 1830, Enys House is the historic heart of the Enys estate. The house remained in family ownership until the Second World War, when it was requisitioned as an officer training base for the Royal Dutch Navy.
On this intimate 40-minute tour, Joss Campbell will guide you through the principal rooms of the house, including the Drawing Room, Library, and Dining Room, bringing its rich history to life from its early years to the present day.
The Enys House tours are taking place as part of our Heritage festival and so to join a tour, you must also have a ticket for Awenek!
Tickets and pricing
The tour is pay as you feel with tickets priced at £5, £10 or £15.
Capacity is limited to 10 individuals per tour.
All funds raised from the tours will be split equally between Cornwall Heritage Trust and Enys House.

About Joss Campbell
Joss has extensively studied the history of Flushing. He gives talks on, and lead walks around, the village as well as compiling the village archive. His particular interest in Enys was sparked when he discovered a family connection to the last member of the Enys family to live there.
Please note
- The Enys House tours are only available to Awenek! festival ticket holders
- The tour will include stairs, uneven steps and uneven floor surfaces, which may not be suitable for all visitors
- As the Enys House tours are taking place as part of our wider Awenek! festival, there will be exhibitors and public in some of the main rooms of the house where the tours are taking place.
