John & Catherine Sampson

John and Catherine Sampson lived near this site in 1840. Their son John Sampson and his wife Mary emigrated to Australia in 1854. Great-grandson and grandson Robert Menzies was Prime Minister of Australia from 1939-1941 and 1949-1966.
