Located in northeast Cornwall, Warbstow Bury is Cornwall’s second-largest and best-preserved Iron Age fort. You’ll have the chance to follow a sensory nature trail around the ring ramparts and explore this amazing hillfort.
Complete the trail and you’ll even earn a special prize.
There will also be drop-in ‘make and take’ activities on offer in the village hall.
There’s no need to book and you don’t need to be members. Just come along and enjoy!
Getting there
By car
Approximately 10 miles east of Camelford in northeast Cornwall, the site is located on the outskirts of the village of Warbstow.
If you are coming from the west, take the A39 and A395 eastwards towards Hallworthy, where you will turn left following the signs for Warbstow.

Public transport
Whilst Transport for Cornwall’s number 220, 371, 372 and 373 do stop a 5-minute walk from the site, these are extremely infrequent. Please check www.transportforcornwall.co.uk for full details.
What to wear
The walk involves rough ground, uneven terrain and slopes. It may be wet and muddy underfoot and the site is exposed to the elements.
Please wear sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing for the weather.
