Volunteering Opportunity – Cornwall Heritage Trust Ranger Day
Cornwall Heritage Trust’s Ranger Days are an exciting programme of practical volunteering opportunities at our heritage sites around Cornwall.
Taking place at Sancreed Beacon near Penzance, this session will involve coppicing. This work has been informed by an ecological survey of the site, which was made possible by funding from the Banister Charitable Trust.
Work such as this is a vital part of helping us protect these ancient monuments and the natural habitats that they are part of, and we are hugely grateful for any support you can give.
No experience is required and support and equipment will be provided.
Although we are keen to accommodate all offers to volunteer, on some occasions we are restricted to the number of volunteers that can participate on site. Places in these instances will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
