Cornwall Heritage Trust is delighted to support the “Liskeard Unlocked” Project which is taking place from the 7th to 10th of September.
Part of the National Heritage Open Days Scheme, visitors to Liskeard will have the chance to view buildings which are normally closed to the public and discover the hidden stories of Liskeard. The Masonic Hall, St Martin’s Church tower and the Cornish Times Archive, as well as a selection of private houses, will all be open. There are also a series of art workshops available, all linked to the Liskeard Unlocked project.
The project applied for funding through the Cornwall Heritage Trust’s new small grants scheme, where grants of up to £500 can be applied for at any time throughout the year to make it easier for smaller projects to get started. CHT also offers larger grants to heritage organisations in Cornwall, for more information on our grants schemes please click here .
