From ancient stone circles and imposing hillforts to a 19th-century viaduct hidden in an idyllic valley and a medieval dovecote tucked between suburban houses, the historic places we’ve taken into our care over the last 40 years are inspiring and truly unique.
That’s why, this year, we challenged the public to capture their favourite features and views of these incredible sites in our community photography competition.
It’s been an absolute joy to see the historic places we look after that mean the most to you, and our judging panel had a difficult task choosing the winners.
The winners are…
1st Prize – Ann-Marie Davey – Trethevy Quoit

2nd Prize – Jamie Ashley – Tregonning Hill

3rd Prize – Paula Green – King Doniert’s Stone

Highly commended…
Stuart Chorlton – Treffry Viaduct

Amy Williams – Dupath Well

Amy Williams – Duloe Stone Circle

Amy Williams – St Cleer’s Holy Well and Cross

Christina Pearn – Carn Euny

Paula Green – The Hurler Stone Circles

They now all feature in our 2026 fundraising calendar, which is available to buy on our website, priced at £8 plus postage. All the profits will support our work to preserve and strengthen Cornwall’s unique heritage, so if you would like to place an order, we would be hugely grateful for your support.
