These beautiful ornaments are handmade in Cornwall by local potter Julia Crimmen. Due to the handmade nature of these ornaments, we have a limited number available.
Each bird is modelled by hand, meaning they have their own special character and no two are the same.
Julia paints them with underglaze colours and finishes them with a glossy transparent glaze. She makes their little legs from an aluminium wire and mounts them onto beech wood bases.
Each seagull measures approximately 11cm high.
Julia is a potter based in Cornwall who creates ceramic homewares and small collectable sculptural porcelain animals in her garden studio. Her work has been shown in galleries in Cornwall, Devon and as far as Scotland.
