Are you aged 12 – 18 and worried about the current state of the planet? Do you want to make a direct and lasting impact on Cornwall’s ecology and be a positive force for change?
Our award-winning Young Rangers ‘Climate Action Youth Group’ offers the chance to take action over the climate crisis, assist with environmental work on historic natural landscapes and develop your skills in countryside management.

Those involved regularly meet to undertake tasks ranging from heathland regeneration and monitoring flora and fauna to helping increase biodiversity at the historic sites our charity cares for.
As part of the programme, Young Rangers can also undertake professional training in traditional skills such as scything and Cornish hedging – accreditations you can take forward to help achieve your career or life goals.
Our Young Rangers said…
“Being on the project has helped build my confidence and make new friends with similar passions.”
“I have learnt new skills and enjoyed being in the fresh air as part of a team.”

In fact, 100% of participants reported a growth in confidence after taking part.
Whether you want to help the planet or forge a more meaningful connection to your local environment and the past, being a Young Ranger is a fantastic opportunity to really make a difference and we would love to welcome you to the team!
