When we visited Royal Cornwall Museum we had a brilliant time and got to see lots and lots of artefacts. We learnt about Ancient Egypt and how mummification happened. We even got to make a mummy using the dummy. Next, we looked at all the different artefacts from back in the Stone Age to the Iron Age like arrowheads and different types of pots. They are thousands of years old! Then we looked at the different types of rocks that have been found under the ground and we had to find the one that was found closest to the school. Erin and Liberty won with a rock found in Ludgvan! We saw the model of the Cornish mine and it was fun watching all the different parts move.
There was so much to look at and we had a fantastic day.
