This November is our annual Members Day, a special event to thank our members for their continued support and share some of the exciting work taking place at Cornwall Heritage Trust.

We are delighted to invite our members to join us in Penzance for our 2026 Members Day and Annual General Meeting (AGM).
This year’s event will offer a fascinating insight into Nancealverne House, a remarkable historic property in Penzance which has recently been gifted to Cornwall Heritage Trust, and the discoveries being made as we explore its collections and uncover its stories.
Alongside our AGM, members will have the opportunity to enjoy a special talk from our Engagement Manager, Sophie Meyer, entitled The Hidden Secrets of Nancealverne, explore a selection of displays and historic items from the house, and find out more about the Trust’s work.
There will also be an opportunity to meet members of the Cornwall Heritage Trust team, browse our merchandise and enjoy complimentary refreshments and a pasty lunch.

11am – Annual General Meeting
Hear about the Trust’s activities and achievements over the past year, and our plans for the future.
Following the AGM – Pasty lunch and displays
Enjoy a complimentary pasty lunch and explore our Nancealverne House displays, including a selection of paintings and other items associated with the property.
12:45pm – The Hidden Secrets of Nancealverne
Join Cornwall Heritage Trust’s Engagement Manager, Sophie Meyer, as she shares some of the fascinating discoveries made while exploring the collections at Nancealverne House, revealing more about the people, objects and stories connected to this remarkable property.

About the talk
Nancealverne House is a Grade II* listed historic property in Penzance which has recently been gifted to Cornwall Heritage Trust.
Since the property came into the Trust’s care, our Engagement Manager, Sophie Meyer, has been working through its extensive collections, uncovering fascinating objects, artworks and stories that offer a glimpse into the house’s rich history.
In this special Members Day talk, Sophie will share some of the discoveries made so far, reveal intriguing details about the house and its collections, and provide an insight into the work taking place to understand and protect this important part of Cornwall’s heritage.
Members will also have the opportunity to view a selection of paintings and displays relating to Nancealverne House.
About the AGM
Open to all members, our Annual General Meeting is a fantastic opportunity to hear about the work Cornwall Heritage Trust has undertaken over the past year, celebrate our achievements and find out more about our plans for the future.
The AGM will take place in person at Pixel in Penzance. However, we will also be offering the option of joining the meeting via Zoom for those unable to attend in person. The remainder of our Members Day programme, including The Hidden Secrets of Nancealverne talk, will be exclusively available to those attending in person.
