Last Monday, we hosted our inaugural Members Day at the Cornwall Museum and Art Gallery – an exclusive celebration to thank our members for their generous support of our charitable work. This special day was launched as part of our 40th anniversary celebrations.

Nearly 100 people joined us for the day which included the chance to explore the recently transformed museum, enjoy a range of displays and activities about Cornwall Heritage Trust, listen to a special talk from Dr Olaf Bayer about the findings of the Castilly Henge excavation and take part in our AGM.
Thank you to everyone who came along to find out about the exciting work which has taken place over the last year at the Trust and its ongoing impact on Cornwall’s communities.

We are also hugely grateful to the Cornwall Museum and Art Gallery for hosting us – thank you!
From rescuing at-risk monuments and significantly improving historic landscape biodiversity to continuing to enable free universal access to heritage sites and growing our wide-reaching programme of free or affordable wellbeing, education and community workshops, activities and events, our charitable work and its impact on Cornwall’s communities grew significantly in 2024/25.

As a small, independent charity, this work is all made possible by our members, donors and supporters – and we’re hugely grateful for their support.
If you would like to find out more, we’re sure you’ll want to read our newly-published 2024/25 Impact Report. This report is a snapshot of the invaluable work we do to protect everything that makes Cornwall special, and we’re sure you’ll agree that it has truly been a monumental year with much to celebrate.

The talk with Dr Bayer was part of the Castilly Henge Excavation Outreach Programme, which was made possible through a £42,990 grant the National Lottery Heritage Fund and a £10,000 grant from Historic England.
