Awenek! The Great Cornish Heritage Festival

Online advance ticket sales have now closed. There will, however, be lots of tickets for sale on the door.
Location: Enys Gardens, St Gluvius, Penryn, TR10 9LB – What3Words: ///diplomat.ooze.quite
This one-day festival is packed with an array of hands-on activities, demonstrations, re-enactments and performances showcasing everything that makes Cornwall special.
See Bronze Age axe-making in action, explore an Early Medieval encampment, try your hand at Cornish wrestling or sit back and enjoy traditional sea shanties that have been sung across the centuries. You can even let ‘The Cornish Caretakers‘ take you on a fun-filled adventure through Cornwall’s history or cheer on our warriors in an exciting battle at the end of the day!
Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
The festival is organised by Cornwall Heritage Trust, a small independent charity which protects Cornwall’s landscapes, traditions and stories and shares them with everyone.
Awenek! 2025 is sponsored by Coodes Solicitors and part-funded by FEAST Cornwall.
Online advance ticket sales have now closed. Tickets will be available on the door, subject to availability.

Food and drink
We have a great range of food and drink vendors at Awenek! this year, providing delicious lunches, coffees and cakes. Vendors include Ann’s Pasties, Espresso Cornwall, Kerra’s Hog Roast and much more!
Awenek! is a huge undertaking which comes at a considerable cost to Cornwall Heritage Trust, so if you are able to make a donation in addition to your ticket to support the event, we would be hugely grateful.
Children must be accompanied at the festival. Entry with Cornwall Heritage Trust and Enys Gardens members tickets will be granted on presentation of your membership card at the entrance gate, and failure to present this will result in the refusal of entry.
This event is in aid of Cornwall Heritage Trust – the small, independent charity protecting Cornwall’s heritage for everyone.
