Set within the glorious gardens of the Grade II* listed Georgian country house Nancealverne, you’ll experience the tactile satisfaction of working with antler using both traditional stone tools and carefully chosen modern ones.
This immersive session offers a real sense of how our ancestors crafted essential items from natural materials, leaving you with a unique piece to take home for the festive season.
All tools, materials and safety equipment are provided – plus tea, coffee and biscuits to keep you going.
About your instructor
Keith Polkinghorne (The Bushcraft Dude) is an experienced instructor in bushcraft, wilderness living, ancestral crafts and traditional skills. As lead instructor at the internationally renowned Survival School UK, Keith brings a relaxed, friendly and accessible approach to teaching, making traditional skills fun for everyone.
